Description
Tangit PVC-U Special Adhesive is designed for joining thermoplastic PVC-U piping systems used in plumbing, drainage and other compatible pipe installations. Its thixotropic, gap-filling formulation helps provide uniform adhesive coverage while reducing unwanted running or dripping during application.
The adhesive is suitable for PVC-U pressure piping systems as well as compatible non-pressure piping systems and provides a strong, waterproof bonded joint when correctly applied. Its approximately 4-minute open time provides sufficient working time for accurate assembly of pipes and fittings.
The product complies with EN 14814 requirements for adhesives used with thermoplastic piping systems carrying fluids under pressure and EN 14680 requirements for non-pressure thermoplastic piping systems.
